DCJ Alumni meet conducted
The DCJ Alumni meeting held at ‘Kesari Hall’ on 13th Oct was a rare gathering of people from 20+ to 60+, sharing their experience and perceptions. There was an air of excitement when the former students of the Department of Communication and Journalism met with the neophytes.
The function started with the words of Priyadas Mangalath, President of Alumni Association and Secretary Reeba reported the details of the former meetings.
The occasion witnessed the presence of eminent media personalities - Jacob George (Editor-Health-Café), Anil Nambiar (Surya TV), Madhu Shekhar (spokesperson, defense ministry, south zone), Krishnakumar, Sreejan (TOI), M.V. Thomas (writer), Shylendran (Kerala Calling), Vijayakumar (HOD, DCJ) and Sudheer Shah (DCJ).1st sem Russian student Elizaveta Pogodina sang in her mother tongue and Abhini followed her with a Tamil song .
